Scorpions Volleyball is a locally owned, not-for-profit indoor volleyball club based on the Sunshine Coast, proudly running for over 20 years. We exist to provide affordable, well-run, and genuinely enjoyable volleyball for players who want quality competition without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Our competitions are held at Meridian State College Sports Hall, offering a consistent, indoor venue and a structured season that runs across the school term. We focus on intermediate to advanced players who want a proper hit-out each week, with real games, real teamwork, and a strong social atmosphere.

What sets Scorpions apart is simplicity and value. One upfront season fee covers all games, registration, and insurance—no weekly payments, no surprise costs. There are no mandatory meetings, no committees to sit on, and no long-term obligations. You turn up, play hard, enjoy the competition, and head home smiling.

Our format is social but competitive: 6-a-side indoor volleyball, multiple games per night, shared duties, and a relaxed but respectful culture. Players can register as individuals, with friends, or as a full team, and we make it easy for solo players to be placed where they fit best.

More than anything, Scorpions Volleyball is about people. The club is known for its welcoming vibe, good-natured rivalry, and the friendships that form on and off the court. Many of our players return season after season—not just for the volleyball, but for the community.
